Quick Tip:

Quick TipRe-use, re-work and recycle.

We all know the trend at home and in business is all about being smart about our environment and how we use both natural and human-made products. The same tendency to re-purpose everyday items can be applied to your marketing efforts.

Example: You’ve written a great blog entry. Why not use it also as an informational article and post it to your website? Then use that same informational article and submit it to any of the hundreds (actually, thousands) of free article sites on the Internet. Now do this once a week or once every week or two and see a difference in your exposure, your search engine rankings and your inquiries from potential clients.

UGotItFirstOne of my closest friends has launched a very cool business in the exciting new arena of Mobile Marketing. The new service, called UGotItFirst, is free for users (like you or me) and gives you a chance to take advantage of cool offers and even the potential to make some money along the way. Aside from wanting to support a friend, I’m sharing this because I think it is a great new service for individuals and businesses. Check it out here and sign up – I did!

How much is an….?

I get this question ALL the time, maybe five times or more every day: “How much do you charge for an article?” “What is your hourly rate”” “What would you charge for just one blog entry per week?”

Now, as a copywriter for businesses of all sizes my goal from Day One has been to serve clients of all budget levels. And I remain committed to that goal. But…at some point, even if the price I (or anyone else for that matter) give you for a single hour or a single marketing piece is within your budget, it actually may not be worth your time.

That's because marketing is not about one effort or one article or one blog, it's about so much more. And if the cost of the one thing you think you need right now is the deciding factor of whether you will hire my company or any other company, then you may not actually be ready to outsource your copywriting and marketing.

And that’s OK!

This may sound like the "If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it" school of thought, but it's not. I am here to educate and guide you on what you need (and on what you don't need), not to convince you to pay more than you are comfortable with or to do something that you just aren't ready for. Just remember that the right marketing campaign, anchored by good copywriting and a message that works, is about more than an hourly rate or the price of one article, web page or blog entry.

Yours In Success,

What’s inspiring us today…

Authentic marketing is not the art of selling what you make but knowing what to make. It is the art of identifying and understanding customer needs and creating solutions that deliver satisfaction to the customers, profits to the producers and benefits for the stakeholders.
